1. General provisions and contracting party
The seller and provider of the service and the issuer of invoices is Ehitusabi 24 OÜ, registry code 14515618, address P. Kerese tn 42, Nõmme linnaosa, 11212 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Eesti, email info@ehitusabi24.ee. E-24 Handymann and handymann24.ee are a service brand of this company, not a separate legal entity. The terms apply to both consumers and business customers; the clauses concerning consumer rights apply only to consumers.
2. Ordering
Book a call-out on the website. Choose the service and urgency, enter the full address, contact details and job description, and accept the terms. The exact call-out fee is shown before payment. A business readiness quote request is not a paid call-out.
3. Order confirmation
We fulfil a 24-hour call-out during the day where possible, and no later than 24 hours after payment is received. If we cannot fulfil it, we cancel the order and refund the entire call-out fee.
For an immediate / emergency call-out, the professional departs no later than 30 minutes after payment is received. This is a departure deadline, not an arrival deadline. If we cannot depart on time, we cancel the order and refund the entire call-out fee.
Today: we fulfil the call-out on the same day where possible. If we cannot fulfil it, we cancel the order and refund the entire call-out fee.
If no professional is available or we cannot meet the selected call-out deadline, we cancel the order and refund the entire call-out fee.
4. Call-out fee and labour
The call-out fee is €89 for a standard visit, €149 for an urgent visit, €199 for an evening or weekend visit and €249 for an emergency. The exact fee for your order is shown before payment. Labour, materials and other agreed costs are extra.
The call-out fee covers the professional’s travel and attendance, not repairs or materials. Once the professional has arrived as agreed, the call-out fee is not refunded because the customer declines further work or work cannot proceed due to inaccurate customer information, lack of access or another obstacle attributable to the customer. Further work, materials and additional costs are agreed separately. If the service is not provided or we breach the agreement, the refund terms and applicable law apply.
The standard hourly rate is €50/h (Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00). On weekday evenings from 18:00 to 22:00, the rate is 1.3× (€65/h); at night from 22:00 to 08:00 and on Saturdays and Sundays, it is 1.5× (€75/h); on public holidays, it is 2× (€100/h).
- Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00: 1,0× – 50 €/h
- Mon–Fri 18:00–22:00: 1,3× – 65 €/h
- Night 22:00–08:00: 1,5× – 75 €/h
- Saturday and Sunday: 1,5× – 75 €/h
- Public holiday: 2,0× – 100 €/h
Minimum labour time is 1 hour; after that, billing is in 30-minute increments. Time-based multipliers are not combined: only the highest applicable hourly rate is used. Prices include 24% VAT.
Travel and call-out readiness are charged on a separate call-out invoice. Materials, parking and special equipment are added to the work invoice by prior agreement.
5. Materials and additional costs
Materials, spare parts, rental of special equipment, parking and other justified additional costs are not included in the call-out charge and are invoiced separately. If the customer wishes to use their own materials or equipment, we carry out the work with them by agreement, but we are not liable for defects arising from the customer's own materials. If the work turns out on site to be substantially different from what was described, we agree the new scope and price before continuing.
If Handymann24 procures the materials, a 20% procurement and handling fee is added to the documented purchase price and shown on a separate invoice line. No mark-up is added to materials supplied by the customer. The 20% does not apply to labour, travel, parking or special equipment.
6. Starting the work
Work starts at the agreed time after the order has been confirmed. The customer ensures the technician has access to the site and provides accurate information about the job. If the customer wishes us to begin providing the service before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, we ask for separate express consent – see the withdrawal terms.
7. Two separate invoices
Two separate invoices are issued for one order: (1) the call-out/readiness invoice for attending the site and (2) the work and materials invoice for completed work, materials used and any special equipment. Each invoice has its own number and amount; the call-out fee is not charged again on the second invoice.
8. Payment
Pay the call-out fee when booking on the website through EveryPay's secure payment page. The paid order goes to our administration team to assign a contractor. The contractor contacts you as soon as possible to agree the arrival time. Labour and materials are paid on a separate invoice.
The call-out and readiness invoice is payable immediately – its due date is the invoice date. The standard due date for the work and materials invoice is 7 days unless the invoice or the agreement states otherwise. Bank transfers can be made to the account EE732200221096367170 (Swedbank), payee Ehitusabi 24 OÜ, using the reference number shown on the invoice. When a bank link is used, the final amount payable in euros and the chosen payment method are shown to the customer before the payment is confirmed; the payment takes place in the bank's secure environment and we neither ask for nor store the customer's internet bank passwords or card details. If an amount remains unpaid by the due date, we contact the customer and agree on how to proceed; we do not apply automatic contractual penalties.
9. Invoice and receipt
For each order Ehitusabi 24 OÜ issues an invoice, which is sent as a PDF file to the email address provided by the customer. The invoice states the seller's details, the order reference, a description of the service, the amount and the applicable VAT information. If the customer does not provide an email address, we provide the invoice or receipt on site or by other agreed means.
10. Value added tax
The service provider Ehitusabi 24 OÜ (registry code 14515618) is registered for VAT (VAT number EE102083611) and VAT at the applicable standard rate is added to ordinary Estonian repair, maintenance and installation services, regardless of whether the customer is registered for VAT. The applicable VAT information is always stated on the invoice.
11. Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds
Order cancellation, the consumer's 14-day right of withdrawal, the exception for urgent services, compensation for work already carried out and costs incurred, and the refund procedure are described on a separate page Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds.
12. Complaints and claims
Submit your complaint as soon as possible by email to info@ehitusabi24.ee. We normally reply within 2 working days and resolve the matter within 15 days at the latest. A consumer has the right to submit a claim within two years of the service being provided.
13. Liability and limits of liability
We are liable for the work carried out to the extent provided by law. Regulated work (e.g. electrical and gas work) is carried out only by persons holding the required competence. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost income or damage arising from incorrect information provided by the customer, the customer's own materials, or hidden circumstances that could not reasonably be identified before the work started. These limitations do not restrict the consumer's statutory rights.
14. Force majeure
A party is not liable for breach of an obligation if the breach was caused by force majeure – a circumstance beyond the party's control which it could not reasonably have been expected to take into account (e.g. extreme weather, a general power or communications outage, restrictions imposed by authorities). We inform the customer of such an obstacle as soon as possible and agree a new time.
15. Dispute resolution
Disagreements are resolved through negotiation. In the absence of an agreement, the law of the Republic of Estonia applies. A consumer has the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn, ttja.ee) or to Harju County Court.
